Here at Active Path Mental Health, our therapists work with an individual to analyze and break down thought and behavioral patterns that challenge preconceptions in the mind. The therapist may set goals, and assign “homework” such as keeping a thought journal, having patients practice mindfulness which involves learning to relax one’s mind and body, and using role-play to prepare for potentially stressful situations.
Each therapist will collaborate with the patient to develop an understanding of what works best for the individual.
