Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who brings respect, empathy, and kindness to our patients.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and evaluating the psychosocial and mental health issues of patients in transition planning and crisis management.
  • Providing expertise on mental health and strategies for facilitating behavioral changes for the patient.
  • Collaborating with Active Path internal stakeholders, to include Intake, Operations, Providers, and leadership.
  • Responding and communicating with patients according to timely organizational standards.  
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations as related to medical records and information privacy.
  • Attending, and actively participating in 1:1 meetings with the Director of Talk Therapy and staff meetings.
  • Reporting to department leadership on patient-focused metrics.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 You will be successful, if:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in mental health or counseling related field from a nationally accredited university.
  • You have two years of Post Master’s experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
  • You are a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with licensure in the state of Oregon, required.  Additional licensure in the State of Washington, preferred.
  • You demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, alcohol and other drug use, past mental health services, and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, social and work relationships and conducting a mental status examination.
  •  You possess a broad knowledge of the principles of social work and the ability to apply them, integrating knowledge of normal development and the aging process, changes related to illness, and the needs of patients with acute and chronic illness.
  • You are able to show knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic, traumatic illnesses and medical terminology. 
  • You demonstrate strong problem solving and organizational skills, including an ability to effectively triage patient and family needs and effectively deal with complex situations.
  • You have the ability to address the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and to formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team. 
  • You demonstrated the ability to engage in patient/family discussions of health care goals and decisions with attention to cultural and health literacy implications. 
  • You possess a strength in verbal and written communication for effective and appropriate interactions with patients, families, physicians, and staff. 
  • You are knowledgeable in locating, utilizing, and advocating for patient/family access to health care and community resources.
  • You possess the ability to demonstrate the ability to organize and lead clinical groups if needed in the future. 
  • You have knowledge of the current healthcare environment, legal, regulatory and compliance requirements, and an ability to be a resource to all team members regarding such issues.
  • You possess the skills to utilize technology effectively, including an EMR, Google Suite, and others as needed.
  • You have an ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and diagnosis.
  • You have experience in providing individual psychotherapy using a short-term CBT model.
  • You can demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, clinical record documentation in an EMR platform, meeting standards of patient care and licensure requirements.
  • You are able to effectively engage in care coordination and transition planning.
  • You demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, high-demand, fast paced environment.

Medical Assistant (MA)

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) who brings respect, empathy, and kindness to our patients.  This individual is a certified Medical Assistant who is responsible for administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to patients, under the direction of a mental healthcare provider.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering TMS treatments according to protocols set forth by Provider.  Set up the TMS machine and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
  • Resolving issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout sessions.
  • Administering psychiatric rating scales and conducting patient assessments prior to treatment per APMH protocols.
  • Creating a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Recording session notes in EMR/EHR, collaborating with providers as required.
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for patients in their daily treatments.
  • Communicating with our team of certified TMS Psychiatrists and other providers who oversee patient treatment at  multiple clinic locations, when applicable.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 You will be successful, if:

  • You possess a certification as a Medical Assistant, required.
  • You have demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR recordkeeping, such as Kareo.
  • You have prior experience in taking treatment notes, preferred.
  • You are able to maintain a professional, clinical appearance and demeanor with patients.  Scrubs provided.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work in a high-demand, fast paced environment.
  • You are able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Provider Relations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Provider Relations Manager who is responsible for educating regional Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), in the Puget Sound, on the benefits of TMS, building community healthcare relationships, and driving referrals to Active Path’s suite of services. 

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mind-set, proven track record of success, and a strategic approach to territory management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the company point of contact for Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and mental health professionals in assigned territory.
  • Driving provider referrals to APMH clinics to meet or exceed forecasted goals. 
  • Identifying market growth opportunities and developing and implementing a strategic POA to achieve success.
  • Becoming an expert on our service lines and understanding the ideal patient profile.
  • Developing and delivering impactful presentations to HCPs and KOLs. 
  • Educating internal and external customers on TMS treatment and other company offerings. 
  • Engaging in conversations about clinical evidence and treatment efficacy, as appropriate.
  • Fostering relationships with internal and external customers to create value-added educational opportunities for patients, HCPs and key decision makers.
  • Staying on top of industry and market trends and communicating changes and opportunities to your team.
  • Attending company and industry meetings, trade shows and events, as needed. 
  • Effectively managing your administrative tasks, communication with referring providers, required training and expense reporting.

 You will be successful, if:

  • You possess A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, required.
  • You have had a minimum of five (5) years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • You have had a minimum of three (3) years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
  • You have current relationships with local PCPs and mental health professionals, strongly preferred.
  • You have prior experience with CRM software, preferred.
  • A proven track record of top sales performance and the ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing contact with HCPs in office, and getting in front of decision makers.
  • Able to identify market opportunities, develop a strategic plan of action, and execute plans to meet or exceed referral goals.
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
