Active Path Talk Therapy KPTV - Active Path Mental Health in OR and WA

Take our online depression self-assessment

Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Pritham Raj, stopped by KPTV’s morning show, Good Day Oregon, to discuss the benefits of TMS therapy and our newest service, cognitive-behavioral therapy! Our licensed therapists are now accepting new patients for psychotherapy services at our NW Portland, Clackamas, Tigard, Hillsboro, Salem, and Vancouver, WA locations.

Through therapy, Dr. Raj describes patient goals as “changing thoughts as well as behaviors associated with depression, anxiety, and a host of other mental health disorders” (02:10-02:15).

Dr. Raj mentions how the pandemic has escalated the rates of depression among individuals. He describes symptoms as “Low mood, sadness, hopelessness, and anhedonia, where you don’t get as enthusiastic about things that used to bring you joy. Symptoms like that are on the rise from 9% before the pandemic to about 27-30% after the pandemic” (00:26-00:45).

If you or someone you love suffers from treatment-resistant depression or anxiety, reach out to us at 503-719-4648 to see if psychotherapy is the right fit.
